Experiment in glitch. Mp3, pdf, and mp4 files converted to bmp. Bmp files compressed to jpg, then placed in sequence in an mp4. mp4 converted to raw and spot healed in photoshop, then back to mp4, then repeated again as raw to mp4. Audio from importing raw data of original mp3, pdf and mp4 files to wav.

Wordpad's Your Pad for Messing Up Images

Here's a helpful hint for all of you who intend to mess up your image files without breaking them:

You'll need to convert them to bmp or tif first. Don't forget to have the image in the required format for posting to the project page, though.

Create a blank photoshop file with a single dot painted inside.
Save image as a bmp file.
Open the bmp file and the audio file with text edit.
Highlight a portion of the text inside the bmp file and paste in all the text from the audio file (this keeps the image tag in it so photoshop will recognize it)

I spent quite a bit of time playing with this single element (the close/minimize/maximize buttons in Mac OS X Lion). My designs tend to be minimal and based on geometric patterns, building up to something that resonates with me.

This flower was created entirely out of portions of interactive interface materials cropped down or screen shot in parts to fit the project. The petals were done each one individually for the larger petals and by duplicating layers for the innermost petals. Each petal was altered slightly, however. The background is a screen shot of the teal color in the color palate of photoshop expanded.
