How does one begin to determine the impact of technology in one's life?  The internet has made the world smaller.  You can be halfway across the world and still know exactly what is going on anywhere else in the world.  The internet keeps everyone in the loop.  It will soon bring about the end of traditional spoon-fed media and create an on-demand news source.  The internet has kept me informed about the world's events for quite some time; from the struggles of Iran and Egypt to the lives of friends at home while I was half-way across the world.
