My Introduction to a High-Tech World
I bought my first Nintendo console in 1986. I saved every dime I received from previous birthdays and holidays to buy it myself. This was my memorable introduction to the high-tech world beyond watching Saturday morning cartoons on the television or reading books. From that moment forward I owned every new Nintendo console when it was released up until the moment the Sony Playstation was released. Then I was hooked on that new technology. Then in 1998 I bought my first computer. From that moment forward I have taught myself everything I can about computers, the Internet, and anything to do with computing. I have never lived without a computer since or the Internet. My world has revolved around the newest and greatest technology for entertainment and information purposes since that moment I first sat down to play Super Mario Brothers when I was seven years old. I cannot image a world without the ability to search the Internet or without playing the next big release of a popular video game. Technology has a hold on me and I have to admit, I enjoy the ride.
